Please note: Sodium hydroxide is used during the traditional soap-making process to saponify the plant oils. According to Dr. Bronner's, none remains after the oils have been converted into soap and glycerin. Suggested Use: Wet the soap and your skin or hair with water. Work the bar between wet hands or directly against the skin to create a rich lather. Massage the lather over the desired area, then rinse thoroughly with clean water. For Hands & Body Create a lather with water, cleanse the skin and rinse thoroughly. For Face Lather a small amount between wet hands, gently massage over damp skin while avoiding the eye area, then rinse thoroughly. For Hair Work the soap into wet hair to create a lather, massage through the scalp and hair, then rinse thoroughly. Individual hair types can respond differently to traditional alkaline soap, so adjust use according to your hair and scalp. Care & Storage: Allow the bar to dry between uses to help extend its life. For best results, store it on a well-draining soap dish away from standing water. Keep in a cool, dry location when not in use.
