Shade Net Roll — 20% | 3m x 50m

20% Shade Net — Light Shade, Maximum Airflow Sold as a full 3m x 50m roll (150m² of coverage), our 20% shade net gives you a light touch of protection without cutting into the light your plants actually need. It's the go-to density for crops that want shelter from wind, hail and the sharpest edge of the sun, but still want to see plenty of daylight — think seedling hardening-off, wind breaks, frost mitigation, and general-purpose cover over beds and walkways. Knitted from UV-stabilised HDPE, the netting won't rot, sag or break down in the sun the way cheaper woven nets do, and it tears cleanly along the knit line rather than unravelling if it's nicked — meaning small damage stays small. Why growers reach for 20% Cuts wind speed and hail impact without significantly reducing light levels Ideal for frost protection, wind breaks, and crops that need minimal shading Knitted UV-stabilised HDPE — won't rot, stretch out of shape, or perish in South African sun Full 3m x 50m roll — enough to cover a standard tunnel run or a decent-sized bed without joins Available in Black, White and Grey to suit your structure or aesthetic Couriered nationwide — wherever you're growing in South Africa, we'll get it to you Roll specifications Shade factor 20% Roll size 3m wide x 50m long Coverage per roll 150m² Material UV-stabilised knitted HDPE Colours Black, White, Grey Recommended for Wind breaks, frost protection, hail netting, high-light crops, general cover Delivery Couriered nationwide across South Africa Shade net requirements vary by crop, region and climate — get in touch with our team before ordering if you're not sure which density suits your setup.
