Wild Carabineros Prawns

XL sized prawns with fabled reputation amongst top chefs A real gourmet eating experience Sold in packs of 4 Only a very small fraction of the total catch of carabineros is eaten outside expensive restaurants. Their colour is a startlingly intense red (even at the bottom of the sea) and being very large and superb in taste, they’re altogether a must for anyone seeking the finest seafood. The taste comes in two parts. Before you tackle that gorgeous firm sweet tail, you should be sucking out the goo from the head. Yes, the squeamish will find that difficult, but it's a flavour bombshell which qualifies as a true gourmet experience (but don’t do it too often – there’s some heavy metal in there too).
