Oxford Heritage 3D™ Beige & Driftwood is the lightest composite decking board in our range: a capped, reversible board with Beige on one face and Driftwood on the other. The Beige face is soft and light; the Driftwood face is a warmer mid-tone grey with a pronounced woodgrain. Each 2.9 m board is 140 mm wide and 22 mm thick, carries a 3D embossed woodgrain on both faces and is stocked at our yard in Didcot, Oxfordshire. £60.00 per m² inc. Works well with Cotswold stone, light patio slabs, and coastal or Scandinavian-style houses. A good choice for compact courtyard gardens. Designing with Beige and DriftwoodA typical layout: Beige face up across the field to bounce light into a small or shaded garden, with the textured Driftwood face as a border or as a single board across the deck to mark a change between dining and seating areas. Boards laid along the longest line of sight make a narrow courtyard look longer.Every Oxford Heritage 3D™ board is capped: a polymer cap co-extruded around a six-chamber core, so the deck needs no sanding, staining, oiling or sealing. A little colour settling in the first months is normal for all composite decking. How much decking do I need?Start from the area in square metres. Every m² needs 7.25 linear metres of board — 2.5 boards of 2.9 m. This figure includes a small cutting allowance for a straight deck; for picture-frame borders or diagonal layouts add a further 10%. Lay the Beige face across the main deck to keep a small or shaded garden light, and use the Driftwood face for borders and steps. What goes with Beige & Driftwood decking?Cotswold stone, light patio slabs, and coastal or Scandinavian-style houses. The Driftwood face has a more pronounced woodgrain, which works well on step treads and borders. Is a light-coloured deck hard to keep clean? The capped surface does not need sanding, staining, oiling or sealing. A sweep and an occasional wash with warm soapy water and a soft brush keep it looking its best; lift spills quickly. Is composite decking slippery when wet?Oxford Heritage 3D™ is slip-tested to DIN 51097 Class C (barefoot, wet) on both faces and R11 (DIN 51130). Keep the surface clean: leaves, algae and dirt reduce grip on any deck.Is there a 3.6 m board?Yes — 3.6 m boards in all three colourways are on order, at the same price per metre as the 2.9 m board.
