The BG 983P is a three-gang 400W push dimmer in white moulded plastic, with the square-edge styling of the BG 900 Series. Independent control for three circuits Three rotary controls provide separate brightness adjustment and push on/off switching for compatible lighting circuits. Each supports two-way switching with a conventional second switch, using one dimmer per circuit. Installation and load requirements The rectangular plate measures 146.5 x 86 mm, with 120.6 mm fixing centres and a minimum 25 mm mounting box. Check lamp type, minimum loads and required derating against the supplied instructions. The combined plate load must also stay within its specified limit; three 400W controls do not imply an unrestricted 1,200W total load.
