Piano Hybrid Tea Rose The red rose that hits every note What you'll get: 1 bare root rose, shipped dormant for the 2027 season Piano rose is what happens when a classic red rose goes old school. Round buds open into very full, cupped blooms stuffed with 80 to 100 petals in a bright, glowing red. This bare root hybrid tea rose comes from the Tantau Nostalgic line, so you get old fashioned, petal stuffed flowers on a modern plant. It grows bushy and upright to about 3 to 4 feet. Dark, glossy foliage makes that red pop even harder. Ours are grafted on Dr. Huey rootstock and grown by Francis Roses, so the roots are as strong as the color. Cut flower rose fans, take note. The stems are long, the blooms shrug off rain, and they hold up in a vase like champs. There is a soft fruity scent with a hint of raspberry too. Plant in full sun with good drainage and deadhead now and then. Piano keeps blooming right into fall, so you are not stuck waiting around for an encore.
