Cold Steel Drop Forged Bowie Replacement Handles Knife not included - LISTING IS FOR THE HANDLES ONLY Material: Burlap Micarta Model: Cold Steel Drop Forged Bowie IMPORTANT FITMENT INFORMATION — PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASING Due to the manufacturing process of the Cold Steel Drop Forged Bowie, the knife’s tang is not perfectly flat, and the edges are heavily rounded. Because of these irregularities, there may be small gaps between certain portions of the replacement handles and the knife’s tang. This is not a defect in the handles, but rather a result of the factory knife’s construction. Unfortunately, these irregularities cannot be completely compensated for during the manufacturing of the replacement handles. For customers who prefer a completely gap-free appearance, I recommend applying a small amount of epoxy between the handles and tang during installation. The epoxy can help fill these voids and provide a more seamless appearance. The only other solution would be to have the tang professionally machined flat, which is beyond my scope.
