Roman's Very Good Tomato Sauce: Caramelized Shallot & Anchovy

Modeled after Alison Roman’s iconic shallot pasta—with all the shallots sliced for you. Melted anchovies make this sauce delightfully salty and savory. (If you think you don't like anchovies—yes, you do!). Toss with bucatini and finish with lots of finely chopped parsley, a bit of minced raw garlic and plenty of black pepper.
