A 20-bore Sidelock Side by Side

Completed in 1970, the square-bar action-body has our concealed third-grip and clip sides. The double-triggers have a spring-bladed front trigger, and a beaded-edge trigger-guard. The action is finely engraved by Ken Hunt in his distinctive large-scroll style, and with an Old-English finish. The lockplates feature pheasants in typical scenery on both sides. The underside features the maker’s name inlaid in gold surrounded by colour-case hardening. The highly-figured semi-pistolgrip stock has a chequered butt and horn pistol-grip cap inset with a large, engraved gold oval. Both sets of barrels have matted flat-top ribs.
