fighting roosters original german etching

An original etching of two gamecocks mid-clash, all bristling hackle feathers and tension, worked in fine intaglio line with the cross-hatching and movement that make a good animal study. Inscribed in pencil lower-left "Orig. Radierung"—German for "original etching," confirming this is a hand-pressed print pulled from a worked plate, not a reproduction—and signed by the artist lower-right. Set in an oval mat under a slim mahogany-toned frame, ready to hang. Sourced from a brocante in Marseille. Dimensions: 8"W x 7"H x 0.5"D
