Were You There — Soldiers of Every Age Kneeling at the Cross Christian Canvas Wall Art

Some men carry it for fifty years without saying a word. The thing you did, or saw, or could not stop. You came home, you kept going, and somewhere along the way you decided that grace was meant for other people. The hardest question is not whether He forgives. It is whether He would forgive you. This Christian canvas wall art is an original oil painting of the foot of the cross. The Roman centurion from our Roman Soldier at the Cross kneels with his arms around the beam and weeps, his helmet in the dust, as blood runs down from the nailed feet above him. Around him kneel soldiers of every age and nation, a samurai, a knight, a Continental soldier, a GI and a young soldier of today, hands on their hearts, weapons on the ground. Mark 15:39 (ESV): “And when the centurion, who stood facing him, saw that in this way he breathed his last, he said, ‘Truly this man was the Son of God!’” Were you there? It hangs in his study now, and no one stands before it without finding his own place in that circle. It was my sin on that hill too. Ready to hang, available in six sizes, gallery-wrapped on a 1.25″ pine frame with the image printed around every edge.
