S-grade Titanium | Extra Grip | Titanium bolts and washers included | For Shimano and new SRAM 12s Shifters Made with specialised-grade titanium alloy sourced from one of the leading aerospace-grade titanium manufacturers in the world. The inner wall of the clamp has a special surface treatment that adds friction against the bar. In the brand's testing, 3 Nm is enough for a basic hold, and the recommended maximum is 5 Nm, subject to your handlebar limit. Always test fit the clamp on your bar before installing, and do not force it on if the size does not match. Sold as a set of 2 clamp rings, 2 nuts and 2 washers. -------------------------- Features S-grade titanium alloy clamp body, nut and washer. Incorrect installation can cause component damage or failure. Use a 6mm hex key Test fit the clamp on the bar first and do not force it if it does not match Tighten with a torque wrench within 3 to 5 N·m, and choose the lowest value that holds your setup securely After installing, check the shifter position, re-check torque, test that the shifter is firmly held, test shifting, and look over the clamped area of the bar Every 500 km, or before each long ride, re-check the nut torque (3 to 5 N·m) Sweat can leave white salt marks on the clamp. When changing bar tape or removing the shifters, clean them off with a neutral cleaner so the salt does not stain or corrode nearby metal parts After a crash or a hard hit to the handlebars, remove the clamp and check the clamp and bar for fine cracks, even if there is no visible damage If anything feels wrong during first installation or use, stop and contact us. Do not force the parts on or off, and do not keep using the product. -------------------------- Links View the HotCheck Collection
