Tool Case

A slim, elongated bamboo basket for keeping tools, craft supplies, or treasured collections together. Its clean lines bring a sense of order to everyday storage. It also makes a stylish carrier for sandwiches or donuts, while its long, rectangular form works beautifully as a centerpiece on the table. A Tradition of Bamboo Craft In Beppu, Oita Prefecture, woven bamboo baskets and strainers are said to have been used as early as the first century CE. Over the centuries, bamboo craft developed into a valued traditional art form. Today, these baskets are being rediscovered as practical everyday essentials, appreciated for their natural material and their place in a more environmentally and ethically conscious way of living.
