Fruit mix

You'll recognize the shapes in Fruit mix before you can name them: a yellow rind dotted with white seeds, red berries piled in a corner, orange segments caught mid-spill. Batista never quite commits to realism, letting each form stay loose enough that a coconut could just as easily be a sun. The palette stays bright and a little chaotic, red loops looping over teal, yellow butting up against blue, and the whole canvas has the messy, generous feel of a table set for too many people.
