CLASSICS the Small Luxury Design Award 2024 グランプリ受賞デザイン 作者：Hu Xiaoyi　 ＜イニシャル刺繍オススメ内容＞ 文字：№9 位置：右下タテ ーーーー 第4回目となるCLASSICS the Small Luxury Design Award 2024 のデザインテーマは「HAPPY」。67ヶ国、1,310作品のご応募の中から、この度グランプリ1作品、準グランプリ2作品が選ばれました。 ーーー 【審査員講評】 イラストとして、ゆるくてかわいいなと、第一印象では思ったのですが、よくみるとグラフィックデザインとしてもすごいバランスが整っていて、デザインの力とイラストの力のバランスが絶妙に上手だなと思いました。色もとても綺麗なので、ハンカチにした時もポップで可愛いものになるのではないかと思います。 【作者よりコメント】 ずっと自分のハンカチをデザインしたいと思っていました。偶然このデザイン賞を見たとき、とても興奮しました。そしてHAPPYというテーマも気に入りました。このデザインをするときに心がけたのは、自分自身が身につけたい、長く大切にしたいと思えるハンカチをデザインすることでした。そして、春の花の中でシエスタを楽しむ小動物たちや、いつも私たちを抱きしめてくれるフワフワの友達を見た思い出が浮かんできました。この賞は、私の創作活動の大きな励みになるだけでなく、ハンカチのような個人的なアイテムに自分の気持ちを反映させ、自分の表現を持ち込むことを可能にしてくれます。 I have always wanted to design my own handkerchiefs. When I saw this design award by chance, I was very excited. And I also liked the theme HAPPY, which was also the mood myself would like to bring into my design then. When doing these designs, I just tried to design the handkerchiefs that myself would like to wear, something that I personally would treasure for a long time. I tried to recall the authentic joyful moments I had. And that’s when the memories of seeing little animals enjoying their siesta amid the spring blossoms came in, as well as our fluffy friends that always wanted to hug us. I am grateful for the award, it is not only a great encouragement to my creative practice, but it also allows me to reflect my own feelings and bring my own expression into an item as personal as a handkerchief.
