“Now then we are ambassadors for Christ...” - 2 Corinthians 5:20 “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me ...” - Acts 1:8 When I heard Celeste Mergen’s story, I was stunned. God opened her eyes to a tremendous need that existed world wide and she had the courage to put in the work to find a way to solve it. This resulted in creating the Days for Girls organization and over the course of 16 years they helped 3.5 million women world wide. She is a beautiful example of letting God work through her, letting her hands be His. I want to be like that too, a conduit for His spirit and love. I want my hands to be His. Oil on panel 18" x 36"
