Story Our incredible Mexican textile artist, Mariella, creates impressive large-scale wall art and draped thread lampshades that hang in high-end hotels and restaurants from Cancun to Cabo. She uses dyes from plants and her magic fabric threads are made from recycled nylon fibre. She studied fashion and textile design at the European Institute for Design in Barcelona, Spain, where her formal training gave her the confidence and authority to create her magnificent art.
