Helanthium tenellum 'Broad leaf' is a compact rosette plant with broader leaves than the typical form, making it an excellent choice for creating a lush foreground or low midground in planted aquariums. Plant the divided portions with space between them to encourage runners that gradually form a natural carpet under stable conditions.This plant is supplied as a pest-free in-vitro tissue-culture cup. The plantlets are grown in sterile gel and should be rinsed thoroughly with clean water before being divided into small portions and planted in the substrate. It generally performs well with moderate lighting, a nutrient-rich substrate, and stable aquarium conditions.
