1994.5-2003 7.3L CNC Fabrication Exhaust Back Pressure EBP Tube Sensor Relocation Kit - PN's: 421314, 421315, 421316, 421317 On a 1994.5-2003 7.3L Powerstroke the exhaust back pressure tube runs from the driver's exhaust manifold to a sensor buried behind the passenger-side fuel line and the high pressure oil pump. After twenty-some years the factory steel tube rusts, plugs with carbon, or snaps at the manifold fitting — and a tube that can't pass a clean signal gives the PCM a bad back pressure reading, which shows up as poor cold-weather starting, an EBPV that won't work properly, and a check engine light. Then you find out you have to pull the fuel line and half the HPOP to get at it. This kit fixes both problems at once. It replaces the tube with 304 stainless bent in-house on our 3-axis bender, and relocates the sensor to a billet 6061-T6 HPOP access cover — so next time the sensor comes out with a wrench, not a teardown.
