DND One Shot: Learn To Play

Have you always been curious about DND, but not sure where to start? This is for you! We are hosting a learn-to play one-shot (a game played in one sitting vs a longer "campaign"). We will teach you everything you need to know to get started: from game and dice mechanics, how to read a character sheet, and most importantly how to build collaborative stories. This is a great class to take so you can play along in future campaigns at Makeshift Crafts! Workshop Age Guidance: Our workshops are designed to be a welcoming and inclusive creative space for all. Please note that workshops are intended for participants ages 14 and up, with instruction, pacing, and materials geared toward teens and adults rather than young children. Workshops that are appropriate for younger participants will be clearly labeled as family-friendly or “Grown-Up & Me” activities. Thank you for your understanding! Cancellation Policy: For workshops booked on or after August 16, 2026, the following cancellation policy applies: If you’re unable to attend a workshop, you may cancel your reservation up to 48 hours before the scheduled workshop time to receive a 50% refund of your workshop payment. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the workshop start time are not eligible for a refund. Please note that materials or kits from the class cannot be provided to participants who are unable to attend.
