Dolphin Sconce

From the Remains Archive. Available by private inquiry. A single-light sconce in its original antique brass finish, with an oval backplate and an arm in the form of a dolphin, which supports a shell cup. Dolphins have been a frequent motif in classical design since the time of the ancient Greeks. Their presence alongside ships is a sign of good luck and protection. Historical works from the Archive are reproduced selectively through the Remains workshop, with pricing and lead times determined according to the scope and complexity of the original work.
