Large Green Floral Transferware Platter, 18”

A large ironstone antique platter, likely produced in England by Tunstall, originally established in 1883 and began using T R & Co around 1912.* This ironstone piece has been cleaned and has remaining light crazing in the center of the platter and few darker spots. We call this green transferware, though someone may identify this as blue. There is a gilt rim with some rubbed areas along the outside and it has a lightly scalloped edge. There are no chips or cracked. Size: 18.25 x 14.25”. *Source: thepotteries.org. Hand wash or spot clean only. Exact date and location of manufacturing is unknown.
