Whitewash Your Hate Digital Cartoon

I posted a similar cartoon that had Jesus saying that the real sins aren't being gay or trans, but hate and discrimination. (Scroll back a few days ago.) Do you know what many people said in response? They said God hated and discriminated in the Bible, therefore so can we. So should we! They called hate love and discrimination discernment. A convenient rebranding. You see? Our own hearts, not the Bible, are the first and final authority, and we just use the Bible as a prooftext. We have hate in our heart and cover it up with religion to make it look good. The very definition of whitewashed tombs.
