Sky Ferreira - Night Time, My Time (180g Gatefold Import) Vinyl LP

Sky Ferreira spent years in major label limbo before Night Time, My Time finally landed in 2013, and the delay is audible in how little it tries to please anyone. Synth-pop structures get buried under distorted guitars and tape hiss, closer to nineties alternative than to anything on pop radio at the time. "Boys," "I Blame Myself," and "You're Not the One" carry hooks big enough to survive the murk. This UK import reissue runs at 180 gram in a gatefold sleeve and follows the original pressing faithfully. Street date: November 20.
