Fancy a trip to northern Italy? We’ll save you the airfare. We’re welcoming the Giuseppe Cortese estate to Vino Gusto for an evening exploring Piedmont, home to some of Italy’s most exciting wines. Think rolling vineyards, serious food and bottles that give you plenty to talk about. Based in Barbaresco, the Cortese family has been making wine under its own name since 1971. Their story is closely tied to Rabajà, one of Barbaresco’s most celebrated vineyards, where Nebbiolo produces beautifully fragrant reds with structure, depth and the ability to age brilliantly. We’ll explore the wines together, hearing the stories behind the bottles and discovering what makes this corner of Italy so special. It’s a chance to get beyond the label, ask questions and hear directly from the people behind the estate. Whether you know your Barbaresco from your Barolo or simply enjoy a delicious Italian red, come along. Expect good wine, lively conversation and a little useful wine knowledge to take home.
