One 1310nm optical lane running PAM4 per the 100G Lambda MSA and IEEE 802.3cu — not a four-lane LR4, and not interchangeable with one: the far end of the link must also be a single-lambda LR optic. The 10km SMF reach fits inter-site and datacenter interconnect links where 100G leaves the building. It reports operating conditions over DDM.
