Phalaenopsis Orchid in Pot

Phalaenopsis orchids thrive in bright, indirect light—place yours near an east or west-facing window away from harsh afternoon sun. Water weekly by soaking the pot for 10-15 minutes, then allow it to drain completely; these plants prefer slightly moist roots but hate sitting in water. Use well-draining orchid bark or moss as your growing medium. Maintain temperatures between 15–24°C and provide moderate humidity by misting leaves occasionally or placing the pot on a pebble tray with water. Feed with diluted orchid fertiliser every two weeks during the growing season. Once flowers fade, trim the stem just above a node to encourage future blooms. Repot every 2–3 years in spring.
