Handwoven wool rug from Northwest Persia featuring richly patterned field in dark indigo, rust, red, and earth tones. Bold central diamond medallion surrounded by traditional Herati-style floral motifs and geometric patterns. Measures 4'11" W x 6'6" L. In excellent condition. Handwoven in wool, the surface carries a beautiful patina. Subtle variations in pile, tonal shifts, and irregularities that speak to its history. All vintage sales final.
