Rufus Pants

Cropped high-waisted pants with front double pleats, slashed pockets, and of course, gold metal buttons. Wide cuffed legs and (with adjustable epaulets at hemline!) create a more tapered leg when desired. Epauletes, found most often on trench coats, form the belt loops and waistband. An epaulete at each leg cuff make the pants adjustable. Repetition is a design device often used within Salish and Pacific Northwest art. The Rufus Pants feature the repetition of epaulets first introduced in the Rose Trench Coat and the repetition of flat faced metallic buttons - used both decoratively and functionally in 4 other garments. 68% Polyester, 32% Cotton Made in Canada Hand wash, hang to dry
