Height in the Garden: Up to 20' Attributes: Broadleaf, deciduous, small tree that is fantastic in the landscape and for bonsai culture. It becomes packed with white flowers in spring that are followed by tiny red apples that fully ripen and color up in autumn. The bark is pretty rough and attractive. Notes: This tree needs needs branch development and ramification work. Give it shelter from overly hot and bright sun this coming summer. I find that it is better to baby them a little after harvesting from the field. Uses: Small size bonsai tree.
