Kings Billabong at Night #2

Just outside Mildura, there’s a beautiful spot now named Kings Billabong. Its a spot with floodplains, creeks and billabongs. I’m not originally from the area, but I always found this spot a peaceful, spiritual place. From taking my kids out for hikes and teaching them to drive, to my lonesome nights spent just riding around out there, music playing or hiking under the starlight. I hold this place as special. I’d give anything to be back out there with my kids, driving around, under night skies. Until then, I’ll paint the scene with thoughts of those nights.
