Rega RP8 Glass Platter, also fits Planar 8 (New Old Stock)

Another thing unearthed from our stock room. A new old stock RP8 glass platter, this is identical to the current Planar 8 one (which costs £445) except that instead of the clear middle layer of glass in the sandwich, this one is all dark tinted. This platter has an overall thickness of 22mm for a strong flywheel effect, but please note that due to the thinner top layer it will not retrofit into other Rega (Planar 2/3 etc) decks unless some kind of spacer is added on top of the hub to bring the record back up to the right height
