Original Blaxploitation Movie Poster - Black Caesar (1973)

An original U.S. one-sheet poster for Black Caesar (1973), the influential Blaxploitation crime classic starring Fred Williamson and featuring an acclaimed soundtrack by James Brown. Among the highlights of DJ Amir’s collection, Black Caesar is one of the rarest surviving posters from the archive. It was acquired in the early 1990s from a Black-owned VHS rental store in Boston, whose owner had previously worked at an independent Los Angeles cinema during the 1970s and retained original theatrical posters after each film’s run. Unlike the vast majority of examples available today, this is an original theatrical release poster, not a later reproduction. Having remained carefully stored in Amir’s collection for more than three decades, it survives in remarkably well-preserved condition.
