Tenryu Japan has been producing rods in their own factory based in the prefecture of Nagano for nearly 60 years. During this time the materials have changed from Bamboo to glass fibre and then onto high grade Japanese graphite. They have developed many different techniques over time even incorporating Japanese traditional textiles to add strength and visual appeal to the rods. All rods are made from scratch in the Tenryu factory from cutting, glueing and rolling the blanks right up to final assembly. SK722S-ML This is a light, all-around model for inshore fishing. Its length is easy to handle on small boats and charter boats, making it suitable for 30-50g plugs and allowing for full casts up to 80g. Target species include skipjack tuna, mahi-mahi, Spanish mackerel, and yellowtail. This model is versatile, suitable for light game fishing in bays and as a secondary rod for longer trips.
