Antique Bezel set old cut natural diamond five stone ring 1.00ct - 18ct Platinum

A gorgeous antique natural diamond five stone ring dating from the Early 20th Century. This bright and sparkling traditional 'five in line' ring was made in England and is beautifully crafted in Platinum and 18ct yellow gold. The platinum bezel/collet setting has five unique and fiery old European cut diamonds with high crowns and a culet facet. The diamonds are all hand cut so each one is slightly different. They are graduated in size, estimated within the limitations of the cut and setting to be : Centre stone 0.35ct, each side of centre 0.20ct and each end stone 0.10ct. Total weight approximately 1.00carat. They are well matched in colour and and have very good clarity, assessed within the limits of the setting to be H, VS2 with no carbon or crystal inclusions under a 10x loupe. The band and gallery is plain polished 18ct yellow gold with an old English 18ct PLAT stamp. A gorgeous five stone ring, perfect for stacking or as an anniversary ring! Rises 4.2mm off the finger. Band is 1.7mm wide. CONDITION : The ring is in very good antique condition. The stones are secure in the setting. Sides of the centre of the gallery is slightly worn and the bezel around the centre stone is slightly mis-shapen in one area. No repairs noted. It will be presented in a new velvet ring box.
