'Air' are the French masters of the futurist-retro electronic style. This album really put them on the musical map, and was well-timed with the popularity of trip hop/electronica/ downtempo vibes , etc.. Less Dance than ' Daft Punk', Hip and cool, chillout late night or Sunday afternoon bliss. Huge album in the late 90's and was a foretaste of what was to come from them.
