A pair of PVC foul weather overall trousers by classic British workwear brand Yarmouth Oilskins, dating from the early 1960s. Deadstock, unworn condition with cutter’s tag and brand tag clear and legible, excellent condition throughout, supple fabric still has an oily texture, elasticated waist still has plenty of stretch, straight-through side pocket entries, hang loop in the back, double lined at the seat marked as a ‘large’, great label, made in Great Yarmouth, perfect for any wet weather activity, gardening, dog walking etc., suitable for everyone. These trousers were originally made for workers in the fishing industry and were made to withstand the harshest conditions. They were bought from a shop liquidation in the 1960s and have been in storage ever since.
