What the perpetual calendar adds is a complication that has to be read at a glance: month, date, day and a double moon phase showing both hemispheres, all driven from a single crown.The movement is IWC's in-house calibre 52615, with the Pellaton winding system that uses a pair of pawls driven by a cam to wind in both directions, and a full seven days of power reserve across twin barrels.
