In-Person only $95 for Members $105 for non-members Includes class and materials kit Skill level: strong beginner/intermediate Prerequisite: peyote stitch and RAW Description: This whimsical one-eyed dragonfly can be hung as an ornament or worn as a pendant or brooch. It is definitely a conversation piece, and makes a great introduction to 3D sculpting and weaving using peyote stitch. The eyeball used in this amazing ornament is acrylic, surrounded by semi-precious gemstones, while the body is woven from Japanese seed beads and precious metal plated Czech Charlottes. It is a nod to the one-eyed creatures Tama used on their award-winning Bead Dreams piece, "Spirit House." Please bring: beading tools such as pliers, scissors, beading mat, etc. Materials kit will include all materials needed for this project. Other Details: Stitches used in this project are branch fringe, stitch in the ditch, plus prerequisites of Peyote and RAW.
