Acacia is a pattern born from memories of different parts of the world. From Emma’s grandmother’s garden, where as a child she would admire the acacia tree, to the vast savannahs of Tanzania, where those same delicate silhouettes appeared again many years later. The delicate foliage dances across the wall in a playful, mirrored rhythm. In the background, the subtle texture of an antique kimono fabric can be seen, found at a market in Kyoto. A seam runs through the pattern, enhancing the feeling of textile – as if the wall itself had been dressed in fabric.
