Vanity Fair Lithograph “Benjie”

Fine chromolithograph print from the Vanity Fair “Men of the Day” series which ran from 1868-1914. Hugh Benjamin Cotton (Benjie) was an acclaimed Oxford University oarsman, caricatured here by “Spy”, Sir Leslie Ward. The print is mounted behind non reflective glass and is in superb condition. There is a small repair to the carving of the frame (see final photo); it is barely noticeable. 333mm x 509mm. Located in Collingwood, Vic, this artwork is available for pickup or post.
