Amadora Red Mum is a compact evergreen perennial with a tight mounding habit and dark green foliage. The masses of large double flowers that open very dark red and brighten to spicy copper red once fully open cover the foliage and bloom from late summer through fall. Prefers full sun and moist well-drained soil, but protection from afternoon sun in Southern climates. Heat and drought tolerant.
