Moon Joy - PRE-SALE
THIS IS A PRE-SALE ITEM If you order this patch with other items, everything will ship together once we get the Moon Joy patch in. The phrase "Moon joy" originated during the Artemis II lunar flyby in April 2026. It began as “I copy your Moon joy,” spoken on an internal flight control audio loop by Science Officer Angela Garcia. Chief training officer Jacki Mahaffey relayed the phrase to the crew and public broadcasts, settling the official phrasing as "Copy, Moon joy". NASA officially defined the term as the intense wave of happiness felt during the lunar mission, turning it into a popular social media slogan. I had not witnessed that type of public reaction since the Apollo Program when I was a child. I remember 1968 being a very difficult year just like now. I was grateful to see NASA unite the world again and that inspired me to create this simple (and hopefully) powerful patch. I hope it allows everyone to carry a bit of “Moon Joy” with them wherever they go. Tim Gagnon Approximately 4” Diameter
