2024 Maison Réno, Auxey-Duresses Blanc

Burgundy, France | 100% Chardonnay Maison Reno's Auxey-Duresses Blanc is harvested from a single vineyard located on the border of Saint-Romain, above the hamlet of Melin. Planted on predominantly limestone soils with a south-facing exposure, the 40-year-old vines produce naturally low yields, resulting in exceptional concentration. The grapes are meticulously hand-harvested, undergo gentle whole-cluster pressing. On the nose, the wine reveals an expressive bouquet of fresh orchard fruits and delicate white-blossom. The palate is generous; powerful yet vibrant, with persistent freshness, subtle roundness and remarkable depth and finesse. Only 520 were bottles produced.
