This is an understated tea. It is soft, subtle, and very comforting. Ethereal aromas in the wet leaf and cooling cup evoke memories of pie crust just out of the oven, a sweetness like a fresh fruit salad, and a crispness like sundried linen. Nothing about this tea is overt or in your face. It is delicate and graceful. This a silky smooth tea with nice body and lacking astringency or bitterness. This is a sneaky tea that presents more after the swallow than during. The throat-feel is sweet grass with honey and floral notes. This is a very pleasant tea but oh so delicate.
