Parker 180 in Navy Blue Laquer. Broad Nib. 1980.
Introduced in 1979, the Parker 180 is immediately recognisable by the large, sharply pointed triangular nib and slim profile. This example, finished in a multi layered dark blue laquer, carries a date code for 1980. The 180 is a slim pen and standard Parker converters won't fit so the inclusion of the original metal ink converter is an important issue with these pens. A Parker ink cartridge is supplied so the pen is ready to write in either configuration. The nib has a broad point, not at all common on a 180. It delivers a smooth, broad line, well suited to someone with a large, bold hand.
