Hevva Cornish Sardines

The sardines are sustainably caught along the Cornish shore and bought at Newlyn fish auction by the Hevva! team. Once back at the the Hevva! farm in Bude, the sardines are dry-cured in salt and brown sugar to preserve the delicate texture and intensify the flavour. They are then cooked and preserved simply in rapeseed oil to give you deliciously rich, oily and slightly sweet Cornish sardines. Ideal on served on a thick slice of toast with a green salad and pickles.
