PowerAlign Wheel Mounting Guide Pins Available individually for specific vehicle applications or as a convenient 4-piece workshop kit, the PowerAlign Wheel Mounting Guide Pins are designed to make mounting and aligning heavy alloy wheels on vehicles using lug bolts safer and easier. Simply thread the correct guide pin into one of the wheel hub's bolt holes. The wheel can then be lifted onto the guide pin and smoothly positioned onto the hub, keeping the remaining bolt holes correctly aligned for the other bolts to be installed and tightened. This system eliminates the awkward process of supporting the wheel with one hand while trying to align and thread the first bolt. It helps reduce the effort, strain and risk associated with wheel installation. The individual guide pins are supplied in a reusable twist tube, while the 4-piece workshop kit comes complete with a steel storage case for convenient storage in your toolbox. Proven through both simulated and real-world testing, the mounting pins are manufactured from high-strength CNC-machined AISI 303 stainless steel, offering approximately 50% greater strength than plated mild steel for excellent durability in demanding workshop environments. Each pin is supplied with a colour-coded 3D-printed protective sleeve for easy identification, along with an anodised 2011-T6 aluminium cap designed to absorb knocks and help protect the wheel from damage.
