Featuring a vintage wood frame chosen by the artist specifically for the painting. From the artist: "Trying to capture a moment after a heavy Spring rain turned the trunk and branches of my neighbor's weeping cherry to black lacquer, thus highlighting its palest pink chains of blossoms. In my painting the tree is spread over the panels of a folding screen mounted on the Mandarin yellow walls of a living room complete with pug."
