French reproduction coffee table with marble inset

A solidly made French reproduction coffee table finished in a warm brown veneer. The top has a square dark marble insert set within a burl-veneered surround; two hinged storage panels sit either side of the marble and a long drawer runs through the width of the table, accessible from both ends. The piece stands on turned feet with carved corner blocks and brass-style military handles to the lift panels. Dimensions Width: 118 cm Depth: 88 cm Height: 47 cm Condition Structurally sound with all joints appearing solid. Surface finish shows light scratches, scuffs and a few small knocks to edges and corners consistent with regular use; there are minor marks to the top and some wear to the finish on the edges. The marble insert is in place with typical surface wear visible in close inspection. The lift panels, handles and drawer function as intended.
